Gregor Sailer COLLECTOR´S EDITION: Cockaigne
Sahara’s mythical food forests and the barren food deserts of the frozen North, cuttingedge facilities that test the feasibility of Mars and Moon colonization, high-tech sites for the production of artificial meat, algae, insects, and jellyfish, as well as isolated and secure environments in which viruses and cells are cultivated. Locations include underground and vertical urban farms, massive robotic greenhouses, and high-tech server farms. With his analogue view camera, Sailer captures large-format images that reveal a colourful world of sci-fi technology, inventive designs, and surreal structures. The award-winning work of Tyrolean photo artist Gregor Sailer (b.1980) has been shown in numerous exhibitions and is represented in public and private collections.
