Product information "Ida Pimenoff"

In her ongoing series A Shadow at the Edge of Every Moment of the Day, Ida Pimenoff works in the borderland between reality and the world of dreams. The series consists of landscapes, intimate portraits and little everyday sights, often shot at dusk, in twilight. There is a feeling of strangeness and mystery in Pimenoff's work; an illusion of being on the verge of something unknown. The images are filled with solitude and melancholy, yet there is a consolation to be found in the beauty of passing moments. Ida Pimenoff (*1977 in Helsinki, Finland) studied photography in Helsinki. Her works have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Europe and the USA. A Shadow at the Edge of Every Moment of the Day, with a short story by Joel Haahtela, is her first monograph.
