Near Wandlitz in Brandenburg, in the middle of the forest, one comes upon the moribund shells of bygone time: amidst the trees lurks the country house of Joseph Goebbels and the former Wilhelm Pieck Academy on Bogensee lake. Photographer Jana Dimmey and author Katrin Matthes provide us with their own subjective impressions of this place, telling a photographic story of transience, but also of expectation.
