Product information "Till Krautkrämer"

The MeatWater™ Manifesto is New York based artist and potographer Till Krautkrämer's concise and comprehensive reflection of our state of convenience. Started in 2008 in Brooklyn, New York, as a "campaign to raise awareness to pay attention", the project stimulates all five senses, playfully involving analog-advertising-poetry with digital media technologies: sound, video, blogging, gaming, social media, mass media, studio- and mobile phone photography. The virtual product "MeatWater™ provides the essence of nutrition and the memory of dining without the hassle of eating." User-generated content from participatory creative audiences identified personal preferences to develop all the well-rounded color-tastes on the MeatWater™ flavor spectrum: Wiener Schnitzel, Grilled Chicken Salad, Hungarian Goulash, Stuffed Quail, and many more. This work catalog proves how easily one can manipulate today's reality by combining iconic advertising images & copy with an internet connection faster than the speed of verifiable truth – to reveal that desire truly can be manufactured in a copy and paste world. The project also wants to raise awareness for one of life's essential, but neglected things: Water.
