Product information "Walter Kehr"

Though he had published two other books before, Walter Kehr didn't plan on making a third when he began taking many of the photos that you will find in Photographs 1995 – 2005. Instead, the German-born photographer and director was merely trying to document what was happening around him. Whether it was the late night comedowns, the fleeting love interests or the tranquil plane rides home. They are all on display in Photographs 1995 – 2005 and though Kehr has described the book as "just a simple book of photos," that's not exactly the case. The images that you will find within the book are indeed as simple as its author suggests: This is a collection of snapshots that were taken when no one was looking, or as the sun was beginning to creep above an otherwise empty street corner in New York. But throughout Photographs 1995 – 2005, they also form a greater truth. They remind us that, in life, it is the smallest moments that often mean the most.
