Submissions

Please observe the following points when submitting a proposal:
We will examine the documents received, but we cannot accept any liability for materials sent to us, for example dummies, original prints etc. If you would like us to return your documents, please include a sufficiently stamped self-addressed envelope.
Please include an exposé with your proposal, including a statement on your project and your CV.
Please understand that we need some time to evaluate a proposal. We thank you for your patience and for refraining from further inquiries about the status of your submission.
Due to the large number of book proposals we receive, we are only able to comment individually on those we intend to pursue. We therefore beg your pardon if we cannot respond to your proposal and kindly ask you not to take it personally.
Distribution
Our publications can usually be found at well-stocked art and photography bookstores. Most bookstores can rapidly order any books you require. Should you ever encounter difficulties in ordering a title, simply contact us. We would be happy to help you and to hear any suggestions you may have – just use the contact form provided.

Internships in the areas of Press & PR / Sales & Distribution
We are searching for an intern, who can join our team. Applications are welcome from students from a relevant degree course.
Tasks:
support in the compilation of press reviews and press releases
processing of requests from the German and international trade press
shipping of review copies to the representatives of the German and international trade press
maintenance and updating of the publishing house's website
general office duties
Requirements:
interest in the publishing sector, especially in the area of art and photography books
initial experience in the area of press & PR is desirable
very good written and spoken language competence in both German and English
good knowledge of standard computer software (Windows Office etc.)
flexibility, openness, and very good communication skills
We offer:
practical experience in the area of press & PR
insight into the national and international sales & distribution of art and photography books
depending on the internship period, assistance at book fairs and photo festivals
a chance to work in a young, interdisciplinary team
duration of the internship: min. eight weeks / max. three months
