Ina Holitzka Standläufer – Projekt
Where do we come from – where are we going – from nowhere – to nowhere...!? The impossibility of reading a text lying at her feet while walking piqued the interest of the conceptual and object artist Ina Holitzka. Defin- ing places, walking through them again while localizing herself there with the floor object STANDLÄUFER (STAND RUNNER) results in lived pictures in incisive situations. The 7-meter-long runner harbors a reservoir of phrases revolving around the word STAND. They wend their way through various areas: of the human, social, societal and practical variety. In the project, Holitzka photographically captures localizations with her alter ego, the STANDLÄUFER. The documentation of sequential still images shows 16 stations and their STORY.
