To mark the 300th anniversary of Ludwigsburg Palace, five contemporary artists were invited to create works addressing the theme of the Baroque. While Jessica Stockholder takes up the typical synthesis of the genres of painting and sculpture and the theatrical aspect of the art of the Baroque period, Peter Pumpler, René Straub, Harry Walter and Georg Winter created context-specific works referring directly to the designated venue.
